Gypsy Hands Healing Arts Center, located just north of downtown in Knoxville, TN, functions as a holistic wellness center, dance studio, and an ashram for people in all walks of life. This center is the result of proprietor, Sara Griscom's, vision and experiences during her travels through India. Seven years later, Gypsy Hands, now a Green Business, is home to a team of unparalleled massage therapists, energy workers, and dancers. The center provides intuitive counseling, deep tissue and relaxation massage, Reiki, Reiki Training and Certification, and dance instruction, including bellydance, hip-hop, and New Zealand's poi spinning. Workshops for various topics in healing and dance are often held on weekends. The accomplished Gypsy Hands Tribal Fusion Bellydance Troupe performs locally and regionally, and frequently with fire. Deep Tissue Bodywork

Gypsy Hands is best known for the intense healing experience of our deep tissue massage. Deep tissue may release blocked energy, improve posture, and facilitate the release of chronic pain. Modalities may include shiatsu, Myofascial integration, Swedish, Maori (tribal New Zealand) Healing, Neuromuscular Therapy and more.

Reiki

Open your chakras to the grace of universal light energy. Relaxing, restorative, and healing on any level, Reiki radiates through the whole person, including mind, body, emotions, and spirit. Healing occurs when positive energy flows through the person's vibratory field, opening the channels for chi, or life-force energy.

Myofascial Integration Structural Technique

Experience progressive treatments to Connective Tissue designed to improve postural alignment and balance, integrating the structure of the body. Based on the 10-session Rolfing model, each subsequent session works with deeper layers of musculature and connective tissue. Finish with 1/2 hour of Reiki energy work to balance the healing experience.
